Many plant-based foods – beet greens, broccoli, and kale, to name a few – contain a surprisingly high amount of protein. In fact, some juices (especially green juices) have about 5 to 6 grams per 16 to 20 oz serving. On the juicing plus eating days, the protein content of the meal plan could be more than 40 grams.
